The right -back Wesley landed on Sunday morning at Fiumicino airport in Rome and was warmly welcomed by dozens of fans from Rome. The player, accompanied by his wife and son, landed on Ita Airways Az 673 by Rio de Janeiro.
Wesley, 21, is about to sign a contract with Rome, becoming the third hiring of the club in this summer window. The Italian club will pay around 25 million euros (R $ 163.4 million) in Flamengo, with a possibility of 5 million (R $ 32.6 million) in bonus variables.

The player was still subjected to medical exams in the Bio-Madico Campus of Rome before going to Trigoria where he will officially sign the contract. After the bureaucracy, he will return to Brazil to solve work visa problems. It will be expected to return to the Italian capital on 31 July.
