Oasis’s brother of Liam and Noel Gallagher, goes to court in the United Kingdom on charges of rape

The brother of Liam and Noel Gallagher of the British rock band Oasis appeared to a London court on Wednesday, accused of crimes such as rape and coercive and control behavior.

The British police declared last month of having accused Paul Gallagher, 59 years old, of 11 crimes, including three accusations of sexual aggression, three accusations of intentional strangulation, two accusations of death threat and an accusation of aggression.

Gallagher appeared to the court of magistrates of Westminster, where his lawyer said he would declare himself innocent of the accusations, which refer to a single complaint.

His law firm Carson Kaye declared in a statement last month: “Mr. Gallagher has always been involved with the police during the investigation and has always denied the accusations against him.”

Paul Gallagher has never played a role in Oasis, the Manchester band who reached the international star in the mid -90s.

The group separated in 2009 after several public quarrels between the guitarist and the main composer Noel and the singer Liam, but met for a long -awaited tour that started last month.
