Just two months after the couple split after more than a year of dating, Harvey gave an interview in which she discussed her red flags and what she recently learned about herself in a relationship.
Lori Harvey appeared in her friend Teyona Taylor’s series. luv2seeit , found on the Bumble dating app’s YouTube channel, to talk about all things relationship related. When asked in general what his red flags were when he meets people, Harvey said this:
I would say if you are too close to your exes, it’s a red flag. Friendly, okay, you speak. I don’t even want them to eat beef because then it gets complicated … On the other hand, how would you feel? Is it okay if I still agree with my exes?
Harvey has talked about disagreeing with someone he’s dating, either because she’s too close to her exes or because she has some sort of discussion going on with them. She finds nothing wrong with being friendly with a former lover, but she sets the limit if their friendship is also, as well friendly. After her recent breakup with Michael B. Jordan, the two sides unsubscribed from each other on their social media with all their photos of each other .
In Lori Harvey and Teyona Taylor’s Relationship Chat, Taylor asked her what made her feel more powerful when she was someone’s girlfriend. Here’s what she shared:
Without compromising my values, standards and needs. It also depends on where you are at this stage of the relationship. Sometimes you have to make sure you give it to the right person. Because when you start giving it to the wrong person, it will wear you out more than you think.
This is sound advice and it seems like Lori Harvey is really at a point in her life where she knows what she wants from a partner. The 25-year-old is a model and entrepreneur for a skincare brand called SKN by LH. Harvey also became self-aware in her Bumble chat about her, talking about something she would like to know about a previous relationship she is experiencing now. In her words:
I think I’ve even learned to communicate better in this relationship. I learned it about myself. I was a bad communicator. I did not know
The response was met with a laugh from her friend in real life, who seemed to give a friendly undertone in keeping with this Lori Harvey aspect. To clarify, when she says “that relationship”, she seems to be referring to her friendship with Taylor. She resisted laughing with her before saying that she is glad she learned some hard things about herself because it allowed her to grow as a person. As she was dating Jordan, Harvey said first the key to their happiness was the need to “communicate” and they “communicate too much” with each other.
Through the chat, it appears that Lori Harvey is in a grounded position when it comes to being aware of what she wants, what she doesn’t want and what she keeps working on, relationship matters. While it’s unlikely we’ll get the same information from Michael B. Jordan, the actor was recently spotted have fun in the No first solo . Jordan is currently working I believe III, which he plays and directs. Now it is a next movie 2023 in theaters on March 3.
