Johnny Depp’s lawyer talks about the social media impact of the lawsuit and how he knew she was getting a little famous

Every so often, a celebrity lawsuit captivates the nation in unprecedented ways. For a generation, it was OJ Simpson’s televised trial, which decades later became an FX series that monopolized the viewers. and lately, the legal dispute between Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp and water man amber star listened to generated an endless amount of comments, news and rumors on social media. For a long time it seemed like you couldn’t go anywhere without seeing some sort of actual satirical coverage of the ongoing Depp-Heard lawsuit, but that rumor never reached the people involved in the case.

Johnny Depp’s attorneys Benjamin Chew and Camille Vasquez sat down for an interview with the Beverly Hills Bar , during which they dealt with the amount of noise generated by the cause and whether or not it affected the way things ultimately unfolded. If it is to be believed, the rumors of the trial did not influence them much and Vásquez said:

We really live in a bubble during the process. we had [every] reason to believe that the jury acted in the same way. We had a job to do. We had very little time to do much more than just work. This time we had was for sleeping. We began to notice that she was taking on a life of her own, probably halfway through the process.

Almost every aspect of the process has been examined under the microscope, from Johnny Depp’s reaction to seemingly ridiculous questions to Amber Heard’s testimony on Depp has to sell his boat . Even after the verdict was announced, Heard’s legal team quickly filed an appeal, which they did interrogation of legal analysts if it was the right decision to move forward.

However, there was a time when Camille Vasquez admitted that public interest in her ongoing trial began to permeate the bubble she was talking about, and it happened in the most mundane activities. Vasquez explained:

I went out for coffee one morning over the weekend and this nice young woman with braces, you know, said my name and handed me the coffee and looked at me and [gaped] in the nicest way. And I thought, ‘God, do I have something on my face?’ And then he said to me, ‘You’re Johnny Depp’s attorney. And I was like, ‘How do you know?’ But no, that didn’t play a role in our strategy.

This is certainly one of the repercussions of an extremely public trial like the Depp-Heard rampage. She can’t get the glowing spotlights out of the case. You just have to assume that the jurors who decide the case are not influenced by what they hear. Especially when so many of them revolved around Johnny Depp and Camille Vasquez, and whether or not they were involved in a romantic relationship . There were also constant rumors when the two met at a rock concert .

Maybe they were still presenting their legal defenses? Stay away from social media, guys. You’re still generating headlines, memes, and TikToks, and it probably won’t slow down anytime soon.
