Ming-Na Wen, known in the “Star Wars” universe for her role as Fennec Shand, recently commented on the renewal of “The Book of Boba Fett” for a second season.
During a panel at Fan Expo Boston 2022, Ming-Na Wen commented on the future of her character and hinted that the character will appear again, in the new episodes of the series “The Book of Boba Fett”.

The final episode of the first season of “The Book of Boba Fett” was released in February of this year, but Lucasfilm has not yet given the green light to produce a second season.
Despite garnering excellent grades, the series was met with mixed critics and fans alike, which could affect the delay in renewal.
Season two or less, the series had an impact on the narrative of the “Star Wars” universe. Executive producer Dave Filoni recently revealed that he is working on a project on Luke Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano’s first meeting, after the pair appeared in the penultimate episode of “The Book of Boba Fett”.
“Yes, I have a whole story that I made up many years ago, actually… I haven’t found a way to tell it yet. I talked about it a little later, but yes, let’s see. You would like it, it’s a good story, “Filoni said.
Although a second season is not confirmed, all seven episodes of “The Book of Boba Fett” are available on Disney +.
