On Friday 19th August in such great sunshine…
In the morning, Marilyn calls her son and tells him how happy she is with Paul. In addition, he realized the obvious and does not want a long-distance relationship. So he tells Gary that he is moving to Morocco. If he comes up with a joke the first time, Gary quickly realizes that his mother is serious. Excited, he tries to get the news.
Later, Gary tells his daughter. If the latter is very happy about his grandmother, Gary thinks that his mother has lost her mind and wants her to come to her senses. Ines then informs him that Marilyn is not irresponsible and encourages him to live a happy life. Since it won’t budge, Ines says it might be time to cut the cord.
Later, the young woman received a call from her grandmother. Even though she knows that her son and her grandson will be with her, Marilyn is very sad because she will miss them so much. On the other hand, Ines promises to call him every day and then declares that she is really very happy for him. For her part, Marilyn claims that her decision was not made on a whim and that she is truly happy with Paul.
Shortly after, Marilyn also contacted Ludo and Bilal to tell them the good news. For now, he has no intention of selling his roommate, and so the two young men can stay there until he makes a decision. Although they are happy for him, Bilal and Ludo can’t help but be sad at the thought of not seeing him again.
At breakfast, Mark tells his girlfriend how relieved he is that his son is back home. On the other hand, Miriam is also happy because she loves Louis very much. As the teenager plans to spend an evening at the movies with Kira, Mark proposes a romantic dinner at home. Only the director of L. Cosmétiques has to finalize the provisional budget with Berthier and therefore will not return until 10 p.m. Despite everything, Mark is willing to wait.
Meanwhile, Louis convinces his mother that he is spending the evening at the movies, but when night falls, he goes to a gas station and then fills up before heading to L. Cosmétiques. After hijacking the surveillance cameras, a young man enters the company’s warehouse. When he pours gasoline on the goods, he hears a noise.
Meanwhile, Miriam and Berthier work on the budget. To thank him for hiring an assistant, the accountant offers to be left alone and go home. As she leaves the office, Miriam pulls into the company parking lot and leaves a message for Mark to let him know she’ll be home soon. As he is about to get into the car, he hears a noise and notices that the warehouse door is open. Then he enters the building.
An hour later, Berthier hears Mirian’s landline ringing. When he picks it up, he meets Mark, who is worried that his companion still hasn’t returned. The accountant then drives to the parking lot and finds Miriam’s car with the door wide open. As the warehouse door is also open, he enters the building, turns on the light, and discovers Miriam’s lifeless body lying in a pool of blood…
After the departure of his partner, Christoph is in a difficult financial situation. That’s why he meets Laetitia in hopes of getting a loan to solve his cash flow problem. Based on the history of her bank accounts, Laetitia promises to see what she can do.
Meanwhile, Kristoff must find the intern and post a classified ad. A short while later, Charles goes to the vet’s office to meet Christophe. The latter explains to him that he does not have enough to pay for a veterinary assistant at the moment, as he has recently lost his partner, and that he must cover the costs of the practice alone. Although he is poorly paid, Charles agrees to help him.
