The president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva invited the president of International Football Federation (FIFA), Gianni Infantinoto participate in the launch event of the Sports University in Brazil, which is expected to take place later this year. The meeting between the authorities took place this Sunday, the 26th, at Malaysia.
“I intend to invite managers from other international sports organizations to the event because we want to exchange experiences and knowledge in the area”, writes Lula in a publication published on X (formerly Twitter).
Infantino took advantage of the meeting to give Lula a special shirt from the federation’s “Football unites the world” campaign.
“I am happy with Infantino’s enthusiasm for the university’s proposal and his desire to strengthen the partnership with FIFA,” he added.
