When she began her artistic career as a Faustão dancer, Aline Campos was still known as Aline Riscado. After becoming famous for starring in a beer commercial and working as an actress, she decided to change her last name and recalled losing her job because of it.

“It wasn’t easy because it was a new beginning. I’ve lost followers who no longer connect with me and gained others who do. I also lost my job, but I am increasingly sure that it was the best decision I made”, she said in an interview with the newspaper The globe.
Aline said she felt she had to change her stage name early in her acting career. “This desire for change came at the beginning of my awakening, when I began to question myself and what I was doing. I felt like a fish out of water and started seeking help and meditating. I still do energy therapy to this day. I realized that all the answers were within me and I freed myself from the need to find a place to strengthen my faith. My spirituality is with me.”
“Campos brought me the authenticity I always had. It’s as if my old name attracted the same kind of work, the same gaze, to me. When I talked about it in my family, many were against it, but a strong intuition told me to change”, concludes the actress.
