Festival will reach its ninth edition in Brazil; previous event, last April, featured shows by Scorpions and Judas Priest, among other names
One of the most traditional rock festivals in Brazil will take place again in 2026. The producer Mercury Concerts confirmed the next edition of the Monsters of Rockthe ninth in history, for April 4th.
There is still no information about the location, lineup or ticket sales. The last two editions took place at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo.
The stadium even served as the stage for the news to be revealed. The producer broadcast the information on the big screens of the show Guns N’ Roses on site, last Saturday, 25th.
It was also announced that Bryan Adams and Megadeth have shows scheduled in São Paulo (March 7th at Vibra and May 2nd at Espaço Unimed, respectively) and that the Helloween returns to Brazil in September.
The eighth edition of Monsters of Rock was held on April 19, 2025, in celebration of the event’s 30th anniversary. Scorpions, Judas Priest, Europe, Savatage, Queensrÿche, Opeth and Stratovarius formed the lineup.
