American pop diva visited Curitiba and Brasília with individual performances on The Lifetimes Tour; she also performed at The Town, in São Paulo
Last September, Katy Perry performed three shows at Brazil with the tour The Lifetimes Tour. Two of the presentations generated more than R$25 million.
According to the Pollstara company specialized in obtaining information about musical events, the American pop diva’s performances in Curitiba (16/09) and Brasilia (19/09) moved approximately US$4.7 million — around R$25.4 million at current prices.
The presentation in São Paulo no data was revealed, as it belonged to the festival The Town. See the fundraising at each of the solo performance locations:
- Curitiba: US$2.59 million (around R$13.9 million)
- Brasília: US$2.1 million (about R$11.5 million)
All in all, the tour The Lifetimes Tour sold 1.1 million tickets in the total of 89 shows performed. The total box office revenue was between US$120 and US$130 million — somewhere between R$640 and R$690 million at current prices.
