“We strive to make the animated version of ‘A Dream of a Thousand Cats’ as fascinating as possible, using the magic of real oil paintings on canvas,” said director Hisko Hulsing.

“We combined the paintings with a classically drawn 2D animation based on the lifelike 3D animation of telepathic cats to create a travel world that looks both realistic and dreamy.”

The new episode also features guest appearances of Sandra Oh, James McAvoy, David Tennant and Georgia Tennant, Michael Sheen and Anna Lundberg, Arthur Darvill, and others.
