In the winter of ’54, more than 30 years after Lambert Wilson’s Abbé Pierre, a new actor is set to don the costume of Abbé Pierre.

Unrecognizable in some of the first photos is cast member Benjamin Lavernay. The comedian of the Comédie-Française has recently been notably in the casting of Toledano’s Sens de la fête – Nakache, Hugo Gelin’s My Unknown or even the speech adapted from Fabcaro. The cast also includes Emmanuel Bercot and Michel Villermoz from the Comédie-Française.

The Eleven Lives of Abbe Pierre, so it’s titled, directed by Frédéric Tellier (Goliath, Save or Perish, or L’Affaire SK1). Filming wrapped at the end of July, after 12 weeks of filming spread over 7 months. French movie. The authors of the film are Frédéric Tellier and Olivier Gors.
