
Netflix has released the trailer for “Wendell and Wild”, a new stop-motion animation directed by Henry Selick. The preview retains the sinister mood of the director’s previous drawings, the jaw-dropping “Coraline” (2009) and “The Night Abyss with Jack” (1993)
The plot follows two demon brothers, Wendell and Wild, who enlist the help of 13-year-old Kat Elliot to make a summoning that allows them to enter the Land of the Living.
The screenplay was written by the duo Jordan Peele (the director of “No! Don’t Look”) and Keegan Michael-Key (actor of “The Bubble”), who reprise the collaboration of the series “Key and Peele” (2012). . -2015). Also, they give the characters a voice in the title.
