Universal has released the national poster and trailer for “Armageddon Time”, a semi-autobiographical drama based on the childhood of director James Gray (“Ad Astra”). Accompanied by dramatic music, the preview takes place in the 1980s and shows a white boy pushed into racism by his mother, elite school and peers, while his grandfather recalls that his family also suffered … by the Nazis .
The video also highlights the outstanding cast, formed by Anthony Hopkins (“My Father”) as grandfather, Jeremy Strong (“Succession”) and Anne Hathaway (“Convention of the Witches”) as parents, Jessica Chastain (“The Eyes”). by Tammy Faye “) as the director of the school and the boy Banks Repeta (” The Black Telephone “) as the young protagonist.
The film is co-produced by RT Features, a company owned by Brazilian producer Rodrigo Teixeira, who also produced the sci-fi film “Ad Astra,” Gray’s previous film.
