Under this theme of the show at super bowl the documentary extrapolates to other moments of JLo and tells about the rise of the actress and singer, as well as the obstacles she had to face to stay relevant.
The documentary lasts about an hour and 36 minutes. ‘Waiting For Tonight’, ‘Jenny From The Block’, ‘Get Right’, and ‘On The Floor’ were just some of the hits performed by the American singer at the 54th edition of the Super Bowl, which took place in 2020 and in which JLO shared the stage with another Latin artist: Shakira. Despite being still considered one of the best performances ever at the event, Lopez reveals now that sharing time with the Colombian singer was a challenge. In her words, it was “the worst idea in the world”.
However, the artist’s discontent was not related to having to share the stage with Shakira, but with the lack of time that the NFL – the organizers of the event – will have given to both. “We only have six fucking minutes. We have 30 seconds of a song and if we take a minute it’s over, we only have five left. But there are certain songs that we have to sing. We have to have moments to sing. This is not going to be a dance show. We have to sing our message,” she says.
