George Clooney says he was the best Batman; look

Actor George Clooney jokingly said at a press conference on Wednesday (14) that he is the best Batman.

During a press conference at a Royal Film & TV Magnet event, George Clooney jumped on the subject of “Batman,” a character he played in 1997.

“I mean, you would look at me and just think, ‘Oh, they’re just the best Batman,'” Clooney said, causing laughter and applause from the audience. The actor then asked a person in the audience who would be the best Batman. With the response of the selected person being Ben Affleck, Clooney is back to the joke. “Ben Affleck, really?” he said. “He has nothing that I don’t have!”

Clooney portrayed Bruce Wayne, the Batman, in the 1997 film “Batman & Robin”, where he faced Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mr. The Cold. The film was a huge box office and a critical failure, which led to a reimagining of the Dark Knight years later when the character was played by Christopher Nolan.

Ben Affleck took on the role of the character in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice”, as well as participating in both versions of “Justice League”, both the original and the re-release with the Zack Snyder cut.

Recently, another actor also became Batman in theaters: Robert Pattinson in “Batman”. With so many versions of the character, who was played by Michael Keaton before Clooney, there are ongoing debates as to who would be the best Batman, but George Clooney usually appears far from the top of this list.

Following the announcement that Michael Keaton will return as Batman in “The Flash,” it’s not safe to say that Clooney will never return to playing the character, but there is no indication that this will happen. Ben Affleck will return in the role in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”, which will be released in 2023.
