Is Black Adam stronger than the Justice League heroes? Here’s a new teaser for the movie worn by Dwayne Johnson, hinting at Batman, Superman, or Wonder Woman.
“Long before the world of heroes and villains, one force ruled all: Black Adam!” So begins the latest teaser for the Dwayne Johnson-helmed DC movie that will see the return of Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). Because it’s the Suicide Squad instigator who introduces these new images, and Wonder Woman and Aquaman make an appearance, as well as Harley Quinn, Batman’s Batarang and Superman’s logo.
For Jaume Collett-Serrat’s feature film, which already starred Dwayne Johnson in Jungle Cruise, reminds us that it fits well in the DC universe launched by Man of Steel, not Joker or The Batman. A fact that is no doubt obvious to the most observant fans, especially since Black Adam was mentioned in the first Shazam!, of which he is the nemesis. But this should be reminded of the general public while the various branches of the universe multiply.
BLACK ADAM V. SUPERMAN?
Having gained his powers five millennia BC, Black Adam is therefore the DC Universe’s first superhero (or super-villain) on a chronological level, and he can fight members of the Justice League if “we rely on”. At the beginning of this teaser. But the images in question consist of footage from Batman v Superman, Aquaman or Birds of Prey, and not the feature film, which is expected to hit our theaters on October 19.
Therefore, there is little chance that one of these heroes will make it into the film, even if there are rumors of a cameo from Superman, who is already present in the final scene of Shazam!… but not in the character of Henry Cavill, who has been replaced. by a stuntman whose head was hidden. What is certain, however, is that Black Adam will face the Justice Society of America, the forefather of the Justice League in the comics.
And he’ll notably cross paths with Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell), Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo) and Dr. Faith, who Pierce Brosnan will lend his features to. For the rest, going to the cinema is just a month away.
