Check out the audition video for “Batman” comedian Barry Keoghan, who originally wanted to play the Riddler and ended up with an even more iconic role.
He should have chosen well! Before being cast in a completely different role in Batman, comedian Barry Keoghan originally wanted to play the Riddler! The comedian uploaded a video to reveal that he was interested in playing someone who also goes by the name Sphinx. At the time, he did not know that the character was supposed to be in the film.

With $770 million collected worldwide, including $3 million in France alone, the film will have a sequel called The Batman 2 for lack of an official title. It will apparently bring back Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, as well as Matt Reeves to write and produce, but the villain(s) have yet to be revealed. It doesn’t have a release date yet, but the DC Universe continues with Black Adam on October 19th:
