Dragon Ball Super Super Hero: What is the Red Ribbon Army?

The Red Ribbon Army was destroyed by Son Goku, but the individuals decided to revive it. Thus they created the final cyborgs, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2.

Self-proclaimed “superheroes”, they launch an attack against Piccolo and Son Gohan. What is the purpose of this new Red Ribbon organization? Faced with this impending threat, it’s time for the real heroes to wake up!

So begins the story of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, which sees a criminal organization called The Red Ribbon Army rise from the ashes!

What is the Red Ribbon Army?

The organization first appears in chapter 55 of the Dragon Ball manga and episode 30 of the anime series. It is a very powerful military corporation headed by General Red.

The latter wants to make sure to acquire seven dragon balls to become bigger because he is complacent due to his small size. Red is a coward, cruel and very offended person.

The leaders of this army will have a hard time dealing with Son Goku, who is also looking for the Dragon Balls. Eventually, the Saiyans are able to defeat the leaders of the Red Ribbon Army one by one before destroying their headquarters. The army then returns to Dragon Ball GT, where two C-17s free the ancient villains from Hell before Pan is defeated.

In Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, a bad guy named Magenta rebuilds the Red Ribbon Army. He is the president of the Red Pharmaceutical group, which actually hides the heroes’ new criminal organization.

In order to rebuild the army, he contacted Dr. Hedo, the grandson of Dr. Gero. Obsessed with cyborgs and superheroes, he serves as Red Ribbon against Gohan and Piccolo.
