We review the movies and series that you cannot miss this week on streaming platforms
November comes loaded with movie and series premieres, with the return of popular bombings like ‘Elite‘ Y ‘The one that is coming‘. In addition, we will be able to go back into the mysteries of the creators of Dark with ‘1899‘, his new and multicultural series.
The adventures and misadventures of the British royal family return to Netflix this November with the fifth season of ‘The Crown‘, one of the best period and historical series to travel to the past. But it won’t be the only standout comeback of November. Lars Von Trier returns to enter us 25 years later in the ins and outs of the Kingdom, the Danish hospital where it is set ‘The Kingdom Exodus‘, the third season of one of the best series in history that we can enjoy on Filmin.
Netflix series premieres for the week of November 14
-‘1899′ (November 17)
A steamer transports emigrants to America. The passengers, coming from various European countries, share hopes and dreams for the new century and their future abroad. But when they discover another migrant ship adrift on the high seas, their journey takes an unexpected turn. What they find on board will turn their journey to the promised land into a terrifying nightmare.
-‘Dead to Me’ Season 3 (November 17)
Jen and Judy return in the third season, the series finale. After yet another hit-and-run, they receive traumatic news and are willing to risk their lives for a friendship that is above the law.
-‘Elite’ Season 6 (November 18th)
After Samuel’s death, in Las Encinas they face the new course with a facelift that aims to cover up past disasters. However, the conflict in the classrooms proves to be systemic: racism, sexism, domestic violence and LGTI-phobia are some of the serious problems that run through the corridors of the prestigious school this season. If those responsible for the system do not actively intervene to solve these issues, the students themselves will have to do so.
-‘Top Secrets’ Season 2 (November 18th)
The humanoid lizards? Exist. The moon landing? Never happened. This asocial genius and her dysfunctional co-workers investigate worldwide conspiracies. Animated comedy set in a secret government where conspiracy theories abound.

-‘The Prodigy‘ (Nov. 16)
1862, thirteen years after the great Irish famine. English nurse Lib Wright (Florence Pugh) is summoned by a devout community in the Irish Midlands to observe for 15 days one of its members, Anna O’Donnell (KÃla Lord Cassidy), an 11-year-old girl who claims to be wearing four months without eating and who has miraculously survived on “manna from heaven”. As Anna’s health deteriorates by leaps and bounds, Lib decides to find out the truth and challenge the faith of a community she would rather continue to believe.

Ten years after their happily ever after, Giselle questions her happiness, inadvertently changing the lives of those in the real world and the inhabitants of Andalasia.

A musical version of the classic Charles Dickens story, ‘A Christmas Carol’, of a miserly misanthrope who is taken on a magical journey. Every Christmas Eve, the ghost of the Christmas spirit selects a dark soul to be reformed by a visit from three spirits. But this season, he’s chosen the wrong Scrooge… For the first time, the classic classic “A Christmas Carol” is told from the perspective of the ghosts in this musical about Dickens’ tale.
HBO Max Premieres for the Week of November 14

It follows Ralphie, now an adult, who returns to the house on Cleveland Street to give his children a magical Christmas like the one he had as a child, reuniting with childhood friends and reconciling the passing of his Old Man.
