How payment plans work
The moment you choose an accommodation and enter all the data of the people who will stay, the payment process begins. It is mandatory to enter one of the payment methods accepted by the platform and by the country, if traveling abroad.
In Brazil, payment is made in Reais and can be split into two or more installments, as long as the following criteria are met:
- The booking is for an accommodation, not an experience;
- You are not booking using an Airbnb gift card;
- The reservation is not long-term, i.e. it is not 28 days or more;
- The payment does not constitute an amendment to a previous payment or claim made to the Complaint Centre.
How to pay Airbnb with PayPal
It is important to underline that the reservation cannot always be paid via PayPal, which can be verified when choosing the payment method. It also depends on which country you are in, as well as whether you need a form of payment registered with the financial service.
- Choose an accommodation and tap “Book” in the lower right corner;
- Modify the travel details, then scroll to the “Pay with” section;
- Check if you have the “PayPal” option, if so, tap it;
- You will be directed to PayPal, access your account;
