Monster Hunter Rise evolves the series by introducing several exciting mechanics for hunters to master. Cable-operated actions can be performed with the aid of “cabinsetos” on the ground or in the air, which adds new possibilities for aerial movement to be incorporated into fighter and combat strategies. Additionally, the game introduces the “Dragon Ride” technique, which allows players to temporarily take control of a monster and produce spectacular battle sequences during hunts.

The game also introduces new hunting companions called Amicães, customized “Canynos” companions that can be used as mounts and offer new attack options. These companions team up with series-favorite Amigatos “Felynos” to help players on the hunt.

Since launch, Monster Hunter Rise has sold over 11 million copies across PC and Switch units. On PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles, the game will run at 4K resolution and 60 FPS. On PlayStation 5, Rise will also use the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers. Another feature included in all new releases is 3D audio.

Monster Hunter Rise is available for pre-order now in the digital stores PlayStation Store, for BRL 184.90, and Microsoft Store, for BRL 184.00.

Monster Hunter Rise arrives January 20, 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
