Ibovespa operates at its maximum in this Thursday’s session (22nd), with investors awaiting Lula’s announcement for the new ministers of the future government and reverberating the enactment of the Transition PEC in Congress.
At 10:25, the main index of the Brazilian stock exchange recorded a rise of 0.51%, quoted at 107,982 points.
The elected president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, will announce part of the names of his ministries, anticipating the names of Simone Tebet (MDB) and Marina Silva (Rede), who have met resistance from the PT. In addition, the vice president-elect, Geraldo Alckmin, is expected to take over the development, industry and trade portfolio.
Also, future Finance Minister Fernando Haddad is expected today to announce the names that will lead the Treasury, Federal Revenue Service and other bodies.
