To move forward properly, Wiedendels insisted, WBD first had to get its cancellations out of the way to save costs. “It was really important for all of us to really use 2022 to put our purchasing accounting behind us, put those initial strategy changes behind us, get whatever is out there in terms of restructuring estimates and be able to move on.” Warner Bros. finance director said Discovery. “I think the team has laid a great foundation and I’m really excited about the growth to come.”
