If you’re creating a project in Google Earth, know that you can manually add circles and other elements. Take a look using the virtual globe feature
For those who create a personal project, there is a function in Google Earth which allows you to add circle and other elements. It is only available for the desktop browser version, so on mobile phones you can only see the created shapes, but not generate new items.
This insert works similar to the placeholders that can be added in Google Earthand you will learn how to do it later.
How to add items in Google Earth
- Open the side menu;
- Click on “Projects” and then select “Create” and choose the saving mode;
- Open the “New Item” menu and choose “Draw line or shape”;
- Draw the shape by clicking on the globe until you reach what you want;
- You can change the shape by dragging the points however you like;
- Change the color of the shape through the side menu and give it a name if you like;
- To add another shape, go back to the previous menu and follow the third step onwards.
