“Now I’m sticking my hand between these two wheels, kind of pretending I know what I’m doing,” said the star of Invasion of the White House (2013) in the program. “Every time I raise my hands, they’re covered in blood and green fluid, right? And I’m like, ‘I don’t know what that green fluid is.'”
“I’m rubbing my face and all of a sudden it’s in my throat. It’s in my mouth. It’s in my nose. It’s in my eyes,” he recalled. Gerard Butler. “It’s burning my face, and I mean burning alive. So it was intense. It actually burned for hours, but it was great for the sequence of the scene.”
At the time of the burn, tension on set rose as a debate ensued among the crew over what to do to get the substance out. Some gifts said to the butler washing your face, while others said it would make it worse. It’s worth highlighting how the actor never revealed exactly how he recovered from the incident. Fortunately, the actor had no serious injuries or sequels.
