Rebel Moon actress describes new Zack Snyder film as ‘epic’

Actress Cleopatra Coleman opens up about Zack Snyder’s upcoming sci-fi film, wayward mooncoming to Netflix, and revealed what it’s been like working with the director so far.

“There’s really not much I can say, but I will say Zack is another director who really likes what he does,” said Coleman collider. “He comes in with so much enthusiasm, he’s operating the camera, he’s in the trenches with everyone, and it’s an amazing world that he’s created.”

The actress continued the comments on wayward moon: “I think people will love the action. The actors have been working very hard on the stunts and it’s about to get very good. It will be epic. That’s all I can really say. I can’t give anything away.”

The actress’ character still remains a secret, but we know that the film will follow the inhabitants of a peaceful colony on the edge of space whose lives are turned upside down when they are attacked by the armies of a brutal dictator. The colony sends Kora, played by Sofia Boutella, as an emissary to seek help from nearby planets.

The film started out as a pitch for a possible film in the franchise. Star Wars, with the idea being Snyder’s darkest take on the galaxy far, far away. Almost 10 years later, the movie is coming to Netflix and part 2 is also on the way. In addition to directing, Snyder co-wrote the screenplay with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad.

Netflix teases its 2023 releases in a new video, which includes never-before-seen footage of the sci-fi film wayward moon, by acclaimed director Zack Snyder. The stream also included a date for the film to premiere on its platform.

In addition to directing, Snyder is co-writing the screenplay with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad, with whom he has previously worked army of the dead And 300, respectively. Snyder is still producing the Netflix film with his wife Deborah and Wesley Coller, through production company Stone Quarry.
