In the first two Dune films, Dave Bautista plays the villainous Glossu Rabban Harkonnen.
One of the most anticipated films of 2023, Dune: Part 2 arrives only on the 2nd of November in Brazilian theaters, but dave bautistainterpreter of Glossu Rabban Harkonnenrevealed what to expect: the production directed by Denis Villeneuve will be “much crueler.”
During an interview with collider, Bautista explained how the sequel improves on the 2021 film in every way – and that should please fans. It is worth remembering how Dune is an adaptation of the eponymous books by Frank Herbertwhich represented a major milestone in science fiction, responsible for inspiring works such as The Game of Thrones (1996) and even Star Wars.
“This is so much more exciting than the first movie. The first movie was just an introduction to what this movie is about. There’s so much going on, it’s so much more cruel and political and intense,” said the actor in the conversation. “And there are moments of levity when [há] some funny moments, and they’re kind of absurd humor, but there are those moments.”
So it’s much more exciting than the first movie.
