Britney Spears denies she almost died: ‘Enough’

Britney Spears’ first year out of custody was marred by rumors

Britney Spears denied rumors of medical intervention in an Instagram post. The singer countered an article published by TMZ claiming mental health problems and substance use that would have motivated family concerns.

“It sickens me that it’s cool that people make up stories about me almost dying. That’s enough!” Spears she even mentioned that, as much as it is a pleasant activity, she should spend less time on social networks: “Obviously, there are many people who do not wish me well. Honestly, I am not at all surprised.”

Last month, after deactivating her Instagram account, fans called the police to ensure that the singer was fine. The episode brought more discomfort to Britney:

“As you all know, the police were called to my house based on some prank calls. I love and adore my fans, but this time things went too far and my privacy was invaded,” stated the singer.

The police never entered my home, and when they arrived at my gate, they quickly realized that there was no problem and left immediately.

“It felt like I was emotionally abused and bullied once the incident hit the news, once again being portrayed in a bad and unfair light by the media,” she continued. “During this period of my life, I really hope that the public and my fans that I care about so much can respect my privacy going forward.”
