Names like Blink-182 and Dominic Fike canceled participation in Lollapalooza 2023 for different reasons
Lollapalooza Brazil 2023 announced the full line-up in October 2022. Since then, a few things have changed regarding the artists who were originally going to perform at the festival. The example that most resonated was Blink 182responsible for canceling all concerts in South America after the drummer Travis Barker injure a finger.
However, the band wasn’t the only one to cancel the concert at Lollapalooza this year, and four other artists also met the same fate – but not all were replaced. Remember the artists/groups that suspended coming to the event below:

Blink 182
On March 1, 2023, Lollapalooza announced cancellation of Blink 182 and that the band will be replaced by Twenty One Pilots on April 25, the second day of the festival. However, the organization has already guaranteed the group formed by tom delonge, Mark Hoppus It is Travis Barker.
Travis Barker he injured a finger on his hand twice in less than a month and underwent surgery, making the tour impossible. On February 8, 2023, he wrote on Twitter: “I was playing drums in rehearsals yesterday and I hit my finger so hard I dislocated it and tore ligaments.” Furthermore, on February 20, he shared a photo of the fist on his Instagram stories, and revealed that he was injured “again.”

Dominic Fike
On the day the festival announced the three-day schedule, Lollapalooza also revealed how Dominic Fike canceled the performance “for logistical reasons.” He was replaced by the Canadian indie rock band Mother Mother.
100 Gecks
the cancellation of 100 Gecks was announced with Fike, also for logistical reasons. The electronic music duo almanac replaced in the line-up.
Unfortunately artists Dominic Fike and 100 Gecs had to cancel all their shows in South America, including the shows at LollaBR.

Omar Apollo
first cancellation of Lollapalooza Brazil 2023, Omar Apollo left the line-up because it is the opening act for SZA on the US tour. The presentation would take place on March 26.

King Gizzard
Attraction promised by the festival in 2022, King Gizzard canceled a show at the event last year due to problems related to Covid-19. The organization promised that psychedelic rock band would be in the 2023 line-up, but never spoke about it again.
