Roberto de Carvalho posted on social media to honor Rita Lee. The musician and singer’s widower recalled his “girlfriend” before the celebration next Monday, June 12.
“My sweetheart, my love for you will always be greater than all universes, it will be infinite, it will be sacred, I promise,” Roberto wrote on Instagram.

The death of Rita Lee completed one month last Thursday, the 8th. Remembering the date, John Leeson of the singer, published a video on Instagram and described the routine of going to the hospital in the last two years.
“I lost count of how many times we went to the hospital in the last 2 years. The preparation and routine were always the same. We were all very disciplined with the schedules, and it was essential to be well rested for the next day’s battle. So, no movies or series until the wee hours of the morning (one of mom and dad’s favorite times) and we all went to bed early the day before,” he wrote in the caption.
