Everyone knows that Rio de Janeiro is the land of beautiful people. What few people know is that the men and women of Queiroz excel in national beauty contests.
After participating in the beauty contests held in 2022 in the municipality of Queimados, Rio de Janeiro, the military Rômulo Queiroz (25) and the model Eduarda Thurler (17), were acclaimed as Miss and Mister Teen of the state of Rio de Janeiro and this Friday (30/06), they will compete for the title of Miss and Mister Teen Brasil in Teresina, Piauí.
To compete in the national stage, the duo was groomed by Miss and Mister Queimados coordinator, Jonathan Lima of A&S Models.
“Everything has been amazing here in the Miss Teen Brazil confinement and I want to fulfill my purpose as a miss, which is to be able to bear the name of my state and bring with me (sic), those who have helped me in my preparation, are grateful for the opportunity,” Eduarda said.
Rômulo revealed that she only started in the world of beauty pageants a year ago and together with her friend Eduarda, they have been selling pastries to pay for their trip to the national pageant.
“My first time in a mister competition was in 2022, I participated in the Queimados competition and with a few months of preparation I ended up being the winner. Since then I have received the proposal to be acclaimed as a Rio de Janeiro teen mister who represents my status in the contest that would come next. I accepted the proposition and with the help of my producer, my friend Miss Teen and I trained on the weekends and coped with the hardships like everyone else. Since then , we decided to make some pastries to sell and help with the financial part to support the costs of Mister Teen Brasil since it was difficult to find sponsors to support”
