Titled ‘McCartney: A Life in Lyrics’, the first season of the podcast will detail hits like “Eleanor Rigby” and “Let It Be”
Paul McCartney will share the stories behind some of his best-known songs in his new podcast. Entitled McCartney: A Life In Lyricsthe musician intends to unravel the creation process of some of his compositions, either with the Beatles, the Wings or in a solo career (via NME).
The program, announced by the singer this Thursday (20), will be done in partnership with Paul Muldoonwho signs the foreword to his book The letters (2021), in which he told how some of his main hits were composed.
The first season will have 12 episodes and will cover songs like “Eleanor Rigby”, “Let It Be” It is “Live and Let Die”. A second season of the podcast is already planned and cwill arrive in February 2024, focusing on another 12 songs from McCartney.
