One of the last things to return to Disneyland Resort after the close of the pandemic was the fashion shows. The return of the Main Street Electrical Parade, which took place only in April , it was the first public parade to arrive, and while many people still love the classic nightly event, it wasn’t the parade many fans were hoping for. A parade called Magic Happens had just started a few weeks before Disneyland was forced to close, and while there’s no indication when it might return, there’s at least one clue it might return … eventually.
Gossipify was recently at Disneyland Resort, where we had the opportunity to talk to several people about the parks about the return of a range of live entertainment options, including Great, it shows some rust , the Main Street Electrical Parade and the new Tale of the Lion King show. When we asked Disneyland’s Ariel Harris what the future holds for Magic Happens, he pointed out that the 50-year-old Main Street Electric Parade keeps coming back, so Magic Happens will likely be the same for some time. . harri said …
If you know anything about our shows here, I think they never really went away, so while I can’t really talk about it, I’d never say it’s probably been done forever. Especially since the Main Street Electrical Parade has returned 10 times.
It’s far from a confirmation that Magic Happens will be back soon, if ever, but it’s definitely better than nothing. Of course, it’s also appreciated if a Disneyland cast member is willing to have some fun with the fact that the The Main Street Electrical Parade is back in Disneyland … a lot even though we have been told more than once that he was doing his last run.
Being this year the 50th anniversary of the Main Street Electric Parade it makes sense that Disneyland wants to bring the parade back now. You can only celebrate birthday once, so do it now or not.
Hopefully, once the anniversary ends, Disneyland will seriously consider bringing back Magic Happens. It was a very popular show for those lucky enough to see him during his short tour. Magic Happens includes the Disneyland beginning of a the sword in the Stone character as well as excellent mini-tank projection a technically impressive character from moana . It just deserves a real chance to shine like so many other shows have done.
Eventually, it seems likely that Magic Happens will come back. Time and money were spent on creating the floats and the music in the first place. It will be easier and cheaper for Disneyland to bring it back than to create something new and, at some point, a standard the daytime parade at Disneyland will be much needed .
