The new single comes as a fast-paced and wildly funny look at getting back together with an ex against all better judgement. In the song, the artist of 20 years narrates his feverish inner monologue with self-aware humor and confessional frankness, once again displaying his unfiltered yet well-crafted writing style first revealed on the debut album. acidwho won quadruple platinum in 2021.
Produced and co-written with his regular partner, Daniel Nigro, Bad idea right? brings this narrative together against a dizzying backdrop of chaotic guitar riffs, roaring drums and off-key vocals in the chorus, fully reflecting the playful spirit of the songwriting process.
