While the late singer doesn’t have any credit on the song, biographer Jesse Fink believes “You Shook Me All Night Long” was his own composition. In an interview with the website Ultimate Classic Rock in 2017the writer explained the hypothesis.
“I always felt that “You Shook Me All Night Long” it was a song by Bon, with no evidence other than the convictions of people who knew him. Guys like Doug Thaler (former AC/DC manager in the US) would say, ‘you can bet your life that Bon wrote the song’. And he was a good friend of Bon. […] There is no evidence, other than the information I put in the book Bon: The Last Highwaywhich would certainly lend credibility to the theory.”
Seventh studio album by AC DC (sixth in the international discography), Back in Black(1980) feature an all-black cover art and title as a sign of mourning in tribute to bon scott. In addition to “You Shook Me All Night Long”another three tracks were released as singles: “Hells Bells”, “Back In Black” It is “Rock And Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution”.
