The orchestrated show will be in São Paulo on 14 and 15 October
A saw announced, this Thursday (17th), all dates, cities and additional guest appearances to celebrate the upcoming Sonic Symphony World Tourwhich will be present in Sao Paulo during the Brazil Game Show 2023 on 14 and 15 October.
The orchestrated show is scheduled to open on 16 September 2023 at London’s Barbican Hall and will continue in over 15 major cities including Boston, Los Angeles, Paris, Montreal, Sao Paulo and Tokyo.
The performance is a celebration of over three decades of Sonic the Hedgehog franchise music, ranging from classic 8- and 16-bit themes to rock and EDM tracks. In addition to enjoying the show, which kicked off with the unforgettable Sonic the Hedgehog 30th Anniversary Concert, fans will be able to watch the blue hedgehog’s iconic moments come to life on the big screen.
The songs will be performed live by a symphony orchestra and rock band, with new musical arrangements, including a special arrangement by Sonic Mania composer Tee Lopes.
Jun Senoue and Tomoya Ohtani, composers of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, will make guest appearances at the Los Angeles and London shows. In addition, Jun Senoue will also be present at the São Paulo concert.
