‘Long Live Montero’ documentary to premiere at Toronto International Film Festival in September
Lil Nas X is ready to show his emotional and physical journey over the 60 days of the first global tour with the new documentary. Entitled Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero, the project is set to premiere during the Toronto International Film Festival, which kicks off on September 7. The information is from deadline.
With production of RadicalMedia and direction of Carlos Lopez Estrada It is Zac Manuelthe documentary “is a triumphant ode to the extraordinary power of self-expression and music, while Lil Nas X reflects on its place in the legacy of black and queer artists”, points out the Festival’s CEO, Cameron Baileyin a press release.
Lil Nas X released his platinum hit “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” in March 2021, with the anthem debuting at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The debut album Montero followed in September 2021.
