Legendary band The Rolling Stones announced this Monday (4) that they will be releasing their first album in 18 yearstitled Hackney Diamonds. The album will be released on digital platforms by Universal Music on the same day September 6th.
The announcement was made on the Stones’ social networks, but without further details. However, a preview of Do not get angry with me was made available to the fans, who will know more about the new studio work only on Wednesday (6), during an interview promoted by Jimmy Fallon with the presence of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards AND Ron Wood in the Hackney district London.
“Hackney may be the heart of the Hackney Diamonds, but this is a truly global moment that we want to share with fans around the world via YouTube”said members of the Rolling Stones in networks.
