Spotify celebrates Fashion Week of capital as New York, London, Milan AND Paris with the playlist The soundtrack behind the catwalka brand new destination on the app with playlists from new and established designers and creative directors that will soundtrack upcoming fashion weeks.
To start New Yorkor Spotify collaborated with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), the sole organizer of the official parade program of NYFWto launch the first official playlist of New York Fashion Weekexclusively on the platform.
To highlight the deep connection between music and fashion, The soundtrack behind the catwalk brings together playlists curated by innovators of New York Fashion Week, London, Milan AND ParisIncluded:
New York (September 7 to 13)
– The official Spotify x CFDA New York Fashion Week playlist celebrates New York City’s vibrant creative community at the intersection of fashion and music, featuring songs that have inspired designers like ET OCHS, Kim Shui, Mara Hoffman, STAUD and more.
– Keith Herronfounder and creative director of Advisry, releases his mixtape Link, featuring songs that have shaped his worldview.
– Raul Lopezfounder and creative director of Luar and winner of the American Accessories Designer of the Year award in 2022, resumes the Fashion Forward playlist where music and fashion meet.
London (15 to 19 September)
– Skeptafounder and creative director of Mains takes over the WWB x MAINS playlist, the UK’s #1 destination for black music culture, with a teaser playlist ahead of its first LFW show.
Milan (from 19 to 25 September)
– Giuliano Calzafounder and creative director of GCDS, resumes the Italian Sunset playlist for a summer in the city, any day of the week.
– Marco di Vincenzocreative director of Etro, conquers the Runway playlist, with indie rhythms perfect for parading on the catwalks.
Paris (from 25 September to 3 October)
– Julien DossenaRabanne’s creative director takes over the Fit Check playlist, bringing an eclectic mix, from French rap to international classics.
