The owner of some of the most played songs on the radio performs on the iconic São Paulo stage
One of the new names of the new generation of Brazilian music, with two songs among the most listened to on Brazilian radio, the singer and composer Gio Bianco has perfected his work, taking even more control over his work, signing the production, choosing the repertoire and the arrangements of the songs. This Tuesday, the 12th, he will take the stage at the Blue Note in Sao Paulo, to show all this.
Since the end of 2022 he has been giving suggestions on the releases that will arrive this semester, an EP with new original songs and another with reinterpretations of some of the hits that have marked his life.
The delightful “A Hora de Ficar” (Gio Bianco/Silvera) and “Sobe o Som” (Gio Bianco) are pop with a soul flavor, one of his main influences, and his versions of “Still Remember” (Marisa Monte/Nando Reis ) and “Não Verdade Mudar” (Gigi/Saulo Fernandes), known with the voice of Ivete Sangalo, bring their personality to these songs, which are now back in the list of the most listened to on MPB radio performed by Gio Bianco.
These and other songs, such as the new “10 Pras 3” (Gio Bianco), “Até o Sol Nascer” (Gio Bianco) and others from his repertoire, such as his reinterpretation of “Time After Time”, a hit by Cindy Lauper, songs by Rita Lee, Djavan and other surprises are in the lineup of the presentation.
Gio Bianco will be accompanied by Rael Lucio (bass), Paulo Gomes (guitar), Mucão (drums) and Herbert Medeiros, who, in addition to the keyboards, takes on the musical direction. The vocal direction is by André Mota.
About Gio Bianco
She was born in São Paulo, a descendant of Italian immigrants and began singing at the age of nine, influenced by her mother, a pianist and music teacher. Over the years she began to be called to participate in theatrical productions and to perform singing a repertoire composed of jazz, MPB, pop and R & B songs. You participated as a judge in the show “Canta Comigo” broadcast on Netflix and TV Record.
In 2020 he recorded and released “Me Leva” (Ariane Villa lobos Mantovani), in 2021 the original “Vem pra Ficar” and in 2022 four other singles. Since 2022 she has been preparing two EPs, one original and one reinterpreted, which will be released this semester.
