Hackney Diamonds is the Rolling Stones’ first studio album in 18 years
Just over a month before releasing the next studio album, titled Hackney Diamonds, Rolling Stones are already working on the next album of their career, according to the singer and frontman of the legendary rock band, Mick Jagger.
It is worth remembering how Hackney Diamonds is the 24th new album and has already had its first single released, titled “Angry.” This is the group’s first album in 18 years. During an interview with The New York Times, Jagger and the bandmates talked about this new era.
“With Charlie [Watts, baterista] leaving us, I think we needed to leave a new mark with Steve [Jordan, substituto],” he stated Keith Richards. Then, the singer added how Hackney Diamonds will not be “the last album of Rolling Stones,” and confirmed development of a successor: “We’re almost three-quarters past the next one.”
