We had just signed [com a gravadora], I had left school, moved to Los Angeles… but I knew it was the right alternative. And then a few weeks later, we got a call, and they kind of came to an agreement and decided, “Hey, we have this cool thing in a movie.”
Initially, the song “Bring Me To Life”with the participation of Paul McCoyhad been chosen to appear on the film’s soundtrack Daredevil – The Man Without Fear (2003), but the band decided to go back. The disk Fallen – which in March this year celebrated 20 years of its launch – sold 17 million copies and won two Grammys, including “Best Rock Performance for the single.
