The creator of the festivals also revealed that he plans to include K-pop in the list of attractions

Roberto Medina has revealed that it intends to include it countryside AND k-pop at the attractions of The city AND Rock in Rio. The creator of the festival also said that he intends to call Luan Santana who will perform in the next edition.

“I wanted to invite Luan Santana, I don’t know why we couldn’t. But she will definitely be here [São Paulo] or at Rock in Rio: today there is no more room for labels. Luan is country, but he is also pop,” she said in an interview with Advertising billboard Brazil.

“He has a fantastic performance, a phenomenal soundtrack. In fact I invited him to attend some performances,” he added. Medina also reiterated that she intended to bring K-pop to the São Paulo festival, but it was not possible.

“There was supposed to be one or two K-pop attractions this year, but negotiations didn’t move forward. But they’re on my radar. Especially for the events in Sao Paulo, where they’re more successful than in Rio. Who knows next time ?”, She said.

Roberto explained that the importance of diversifying the musical offer is precisely to reach “an audience of 1.5 million people”. Furthermore, the entrepreneur revealed that he intends to dedicate an entire day to the country’s artists.

“The Brazilian scene has grown so much that I’m even thinking of dedicating a day just to the artists here. Today we have Jão and Ludmilla filling the stadiums. Finally, the Sunset stage proved that there is room for the musical diversity of days,” he concluded.
