MPB/Pop Leve singer Gabriel Porto’s new release song “Até Dawn” arrives on streaming platforms this Friday (20th). This is Gabriel’s first release by digital distributor Magroove, with whom he recently signed a partnership.
The new track comes after a period of introspection for the artist, who has gone through a hiatus in his releases following the success of “Fica Bem,” a collaboration with DJs and producers Liu and Malifoo. The song was successful in streaming and on the radio, with almost 4 million plays on Spotify alone.
According to Gabriel, the new composition was born during a run around the neighborhood. “After a period of darkness, I began to realize that life is bigger than suffering, obstacles and pain. Once I got home, the song was born on paper,” he says. With organic Brazilian instruments and digital elements like 808, “Até Dawn” brings an optimistic outlook on life in a light and relaxed way, inviting the listener into a celebration.
“I want to convey positivity and the desire to live life to the fullest, celebrate, love and exchange with people,” says Gabriel. Involved in music since adolescence, at the age of 15 Gabriel began composing and producing. His first release on the platforms, “Jornada,” arrived in 2015. The first clip, “Me Guiar,” was recorded by hand (with an iPhone camera) and released in 2015. Gabriel currently has nine releases in his discography .
The independent artist joins Magroove in an unprecedented partnership for upcoming releases.
