Filha de Mingau talks about the musician’s next steps: “He will go to a clinic to rehabilitate”

“We spent two months in intensive care, as you can imagine,” Isabella wrote. “The first few weeks were not easy at all. But, thanks to God and the teams taking care of him in hospital, the days of anguish are behind him.”

Porridge was shot during an attempted robbery Paraty, in Rio de Janeiro, and found in serious condition. The musician is hospitalized São Luiz do Itaim Hospital, in Sao Paulo, with “slow and gradual” evolution, reported a medical bulletin released at the end of October.

“Little by little, we celebrate each moment as a great victory: opening our eyes, moving our heads, wiggling our fingers and toes… until we give the most beautiful smile in the world,” he said. “Soon we will go to a clinic where he can rehabilitate. A lighter environment to share his evolution with you.”

Isabella also thanked Mingau’s fans for their support and stressed that she will continue without sharing photos of the bassist. “I will not publish images of my father in a vulnerable state, where there is no consent,” she reinforced.
