The Multishow Awards celebrate 30 editions this Tuesday (7/11) with their first broadcast on TV Globo. The ceremony, which will begin at 11.15pm live on TV, will feature presentations by Tatá Werneck (awards veteran), Tadeu Schmidt (host of “BBB”) and singer Ludmilla, who will compete for some of the evening’s trophies. .
Reflecting the expansion of the Brazilian music market, this year’s awards have expanded and will include 23 categories, 10 more than last year. Voting for 17 categories is up to 900 people from the so-called Multishow Awards Academy, while the public elects five further winners in the online vote: TVZ Clip, Hit of the Year, Show of the Year, Voice of the Year and Category Brazil. , where Multishow named the top songs in every state in the country.
Artists with the most nominations
Along with Ludmilla, singers Luísa Sonza, Iza and Anitta are among the nominees, as is the hit musical “Tá Ok”, a collaboration between Dennis DJ and Kevin O Chris.
Luísa Sonza and Iza lead the list of nominations, with seven each. The difference is that all of Luísa’s nominations are for her own work, while Iza participates in collaborations with other artists. Ludmilla follows with six and Anitta with five. The best dispute takes place in the TVZ Clip of the Year category, in which Luísa competes with Iza and also has Anitta in a double dose.

But the event is not just about awarding prizes. There are performances by 38 artists, including a hot one on pay TV and streaming. The evening begins in earnest with a performance celebrating the 30th anniversary of the award with Pedro Sampaio, Gabriel O Pensador, Joelma, NX Zero, Samuel Rosa and Tati Quebra Barraco.
Also scheduled are performances by Aline Barros, Preto no Branco, BK’, Filipe Ret, MV Bill, Tasha & Trace, Duda Beat, Manu Bahtidão, Marina Sena, MC Nem, Pabllo Vittar, Gloria Groove, Liniker, Pitty, IZA, Jão , Melly, Lulu Santos, Ana Castela, Simone Mendes, Carlinhos Brown, BaianaSystem, Rachel Reis, Luísa Sonza and a partnership between Xande de Pilares and Caetano Veloso, performing songs from the album “Xande Canta Caetano”.

On Globoplay, the broadcast will begin at 8pm with a free signal, available to non-subscribers, in a warm-up that includes musical performances and will announce the first six winners of the evening.
Multishow opens its live broadcast at 9.20pm, directly from the red carpet, where Kenya Sade, Dedé Teicher and Laura Vicente will interview the guests, the candidates and announce the winners of four other categories.
The official ceremony will begin at 10.05pm and will also be broadcast on Rádio Globo.
Despite this, TV Globo will only start broadcasting the event from 11.15pm, more than an hour after the official start. The lack of concern about the fact is due to the bad habit acquired in his broadcasts at the Oscars.
