In the midst of RBD’s tour in Brazil, actress and singer Dulce Maria released a statement revealing that she has a vocal cord problem due to bronchitis. However, she confirmed her presence at the show scheduled for this Thursday evening (11/16) at Allianz Park, in Sao Paulo.

In the text, the singer explained that she started feeling ill on Monday (11/13), when the group performed at the Morumbi stadium. She started with fever, cough and back pain and now she has almost no voice. For this reason, she asked for fans’ understanding if she is not able to “give 100%” in today’s presentation.

“Dear friends, as you already know, I have not been well since Monday, I had fever, cough, back pain and now I am hoarse. I have been taking medicine since Tuesday. The doctor said it is a virus (neither Covid nor flu). I started with a viral flu that progressed to bronchitis, so I’m almost voiceless. Nothing makes me more helpless, because I wanted to be 100% to be able to give my best together with my bandmates. after waiting so long for this moment “I wanted to keep you informed so you know what the situation is. We will be with you tonight, doing the best I can as my body allows me. Thank you for understanding if I can’t give myself 100%,” she wrote.

Dulce Maria isn’t the only rebel with health problems. Anahi felt ill in the early hours of this Thursday (11/16). On her Instagram, she showed a thermometer reading 38.6 degrees and said she felt pain in her body. However, the artist ruled out the possibility of having contracted Covid-19 again. “I had the worst night. My bones hurt. I don’t know what’s happening. It’s not Covid I think, I recently had it for the fifth time,” she wrote in Stories.
