Madonna caused a stir among Brazilian fans when she promised that her tour would come to Brazil. The statement was made during a show in Germany during “The Celebration Tour” and went viral on social media this Friday (11/17).
Between songs, the artist asked how many Brazilians were in the audience. Faced with shouts from some, she asked them to stand up and wave their hands. “I will be there [no Brasil]at some point,” he added.
This isn’t the first time Madonna has mentioned Brazil on tour. Earlier this month, the artist went viral when she was called “hot” at a show in Lisbon and she joked: “she must have been Brazilian” [que disse isso]”.
Despite the promise, the singer is not scheduled to perform in the country. Not even Madonna’s official website includes concert dates in Brazil. However, there are signs of a Latin American tour, as performances in Mexico have been confirmed for April 2024.
