“Malandragem” is the second album of 6UTTO’s career, in the first half of 2023 “Parabolas de Favela” was released, which recounts his experiences in the favela through a lens of faith and hope. This time the album “Malandragem” presents itself with a winning approach to demonstrate that it is possible to find other alternatives to distance oneself from crime through art and above all the musicality that the peripheral artist brings to his verses.
The work contains 10 songs, produced between plnobeat and Thev. “When talking about “Malandragem” the term is immediately linked to being “criminal” and “vagabond”, the same Brazilian dictionary uses the term “Malandragem” pejoratively. But for us in the favelas the term ‘Malandragem’ is about a way of life, it’s about the fact that you don’t have to be a criminal to be a bad guy,” 6UTTO said.
